If yes, then you may be eligible to the OHS Essentials program, supported by Worksafe Victoria.
Delivered over three key sessions, a Konekt health and safety expert will provide guidance on your health and safety employer obligations and offer advice aimed at improving your workplace safety practices.
Following the initial consultation, you will be provided with a practical and personalised action plan for your business which will outline identified safety concerns and how to minimise the risk, all the while keeping the plan continually fluid and adaptable.
The recommended actions will then be reviewed with you in the available follow-up consults.
60 workers or fewer with WorkCover insurance policy.
Sole traders with contractors may be eligible.
As part of WorkSafe’s commitment to workplace safety in the agriculture industry, all Victorian farmers can apply for the program.
During the visit, our health and safety consultant will explain all your employer obligations under the Victorian health and safety laws and help you to identify safety hazards and risks for your business.
The initial session will take up to three hours, and any follow-up visits may take approximately two to three hours.
